Technician

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a technician for our location in Drolshagen – career changers are welcome!

What are the main tasks?

The following tasks are the main focus of our role as a technician:

• Planning, preparing and independently carrying out measurements and test in the are of fireplaces and flue systems (emissions measurement procedures and safety assessments)
• Documentation and analysis of the results in reports and in the relevant laboratory software
• Preparation of reports on the tests carried out
• Installation and set-up of samples on the test stand
• Supply and preparation of test fuels, e.g. cutting and splitting wood
• Organisation of test fuels (e.g. storage, determination of material moisture content)
• Organisation of project objects (delivery/pick-up)
• Calibrations
• Quality assurance of measurement and testing equipment
• Customer support/customer communication in German and English
• Processing test results in accordance with quality standards, as well as ensuring the smooth running of the laboratory and the maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment

Some of the tasks involve manual work, for which a technical understanding of the key fundamental properties is essential. The planning, documentation and evaluation of the tests, on the other hand, are carried out digitally.

This results in a variety of different tasks.
